On June 5, 2025, an educational hike took place in the Vyžuonų Forest, dedicated to World Environment Day. The event became a special opportunity to get to know nature up close - together with naturalist Giedriumis Širkas and ornithologist Ingrida Lagunavičiene, we listened to birds, explored the forest, and enjoyed fellowship.
Although there was a storm just before the hike, everything soon calmed down, and we were able to travel peacefully through the Vyžuonai heathland, enjoying not only nature, but also the warmth that radiated from you - sincere, nature-loving participants.
The event was funded by the Utena District Municipality's environmental protection project "LIVING PROPERTY - a nature tourism educational hike on the Vyžuonų heath nature trail".
