On June 8, 2025, we met at the amphitheater of Utena's Vyžuona Park to honor the 104th anniversary of the birth of Bernard Lounas, a world-class doctor from Utena - the inventor of the defibrillator, Nobel Peace Prize laureate.
Together we embarked on a 10 km long hike “Step by Step You Will Get to Know Utena” II, during which we explored the city’s green paths, water bodies and oases of peace – we got to know Utena in a new way, step by step. We were accompanied by great weather, good mood and lots of smiles – hikers of all ages participated, from the youngest to the oldest! We are happy for everyone who walked with their heart and step. After the hike, a live concert with the band Mėnulio Fazė and the charming Vladas Chockevičius, a finalist of “Lietuvos balos”. All participants were awarded commemorative medals, and also received delicious gifts from the sponsors UAB “Rokiškio pieno gamyba” and UAB “Biovela – Utenos mēsa” – we sincerely thank you!
