European Heritage Day at the old Utena post station!

On September 19, 2025, an event dedicated to European Heritage Days was held at the old Utena post station, inviting visitors to experience history, art, and creativity.

During the event, an exhibition of children's and youth art works from the competition "Dedication to MK Čiurlionis" was opened, and the moving sculpture "Angel" (author P. Šorys together with students) was presented. The biggest surprise of the evening was the arrival of Utena landowner Teodora - she arrived at the post station in a horse-drawn carriage. The landowner led a theatrical tour, inviting people to learn about the history of the old post station. The evening ended with festive tea and cozy fellowship.

The event was organized by the Culture Department of the Utena District Municipality Administration together with partners: Utena Tourism Information Center, Utena Art School, Utena Cultural Center and Utena Stud Farm.
